NEW BUILDING MATERIAL – ENERGY EFFICIENT 3D PRINTED BRICK WITH COOLING
One of the new technologies in construction is a brick made of ceramic using Cool Brick technology. It has a small, multi-pore structure, of different sizes and shapes. The walls made of this brick are a lattice that is a great alternative to the traditional air conditioning system in hot and dry climates. The fact is that the Cool Brick is, in fact, a sponge that consists of many pores that absorb moisture, ie. almost filled with water. The hot air passing through it absorbs moisture and cools well.
The method developed by this company enables the printing of ceramic bricks using a 3D printer. At the same time, the construction made of this brick allows to fully implement the traditional way of independent cooling of the premises.
It certainly sounds like a fantasy, but this technology already exists. Visually, it may seem that a building built according to this system does not have much beauty, but that is only at first glance. There is something exotic in it. Such an appearance is related to the building in a biodynamic way by white concrete capable of absorbing smog particles from the atmosphere, turning them into an inert salt. Thus, the environment is completely cleared of smog.
